How to add a product
Add a product, its prices and sales units in the POS application.
Step 1
Open Products, then Add new, or use Add product in the top bar.
Step 2
Enter the product name, category, selling price and cost.
Step 3
Enter the barcode, or leave it blank to generate one.
Step 4
Review the base unit, measurement and tax options. Add a photo and supplier if needed.
Step 5
Add extra sales units with their conversion factors and distinct barcodes if needed.
Step 6
Save the product and sales units. A blank product form opens after success.
Saving a product does not add stock. Record quantities using purchases or an authorized stock adjustment.
